- Profile information (Helpers): work experience, services offered, ZIP code, and identity documents for verification.
- Usage information: data about how you interact with the platform, login/logout records, and service history.
- Payment information: managed directly by Stripe. Cavely Care does not store full credit card numbers or bank account details.
- Location data: when Helpers clock in/out, location information may be recorded with your consent.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Create and manage your user account.
- Connect Clients with available Helpers.
- Process payments and issue transaction receipts.
- Verify the identity and background of Helpers.
- Send service notifications, confirmations, and important updates.
- Improve the platform and personalize the user experience.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Text Messages (SMS) and Mobile Data
Cavely Care sends text messages (SMS) to users who have given explicit consent during the registration process. These messages include: booking confirmations, service notifications, appointment reminders, and operational updates.
- Consent: Sending SMS requires the user to voluntarily check the consent checkbox during registration. This consent is not required to use the platform.
- Frequency: Message frequency may vary depending on account activity (confirmations, reminders, updates). Users may receive up to 10 messages per month.
- Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the user's carrier plan (Message and data rates may apply).
- Opt-out: To stop receiving SMS at any time, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP.
- Mobile data privacy: SMS opt-in information (including mobile phone numbers) will never be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties, marketing companies, or lead generators under any circumstances. This policy is absolute and unrestricted.

4. Sharing Information with Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:
- Stripe: for secure payment processing.
- Supabase: as our database infrastructure and authentication provider.
- Twilio: as our SMS messaging service provider. Twilio receives only the phone number and message content needed for delivery. Twilio does not use this data for advertising purposes.
- Background check providers: when necessary for Helper approval.
- Legal authorities: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including SSL/TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and restricted access to sensitive data. However, no system is 100% infallible and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing info@cavelycare.com. Some data may be retained due to legal or tax obligations.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
