Welcome to Cavely Care. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Description of Service

Cavely Care is a digital platform that connects individuals seeking support in the care of elderly adults ("Clients") with individuals willing to provide such care ("Helpers"). Cavely Care acts as an intermediary and is not an employer of Helpers, nor a direct provider of care services.

2. Eligibility

To use Cavely Care you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Provide truthful information at the time of registration.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities carried out from your account. Notify Cavely Care immediately of any unauthorized use of your account by contacting us at info@cavelycare.com.

4. Helpers — Registration and Verification

Helpers who wish to offer services through the platform must:

• Complete the registration process and provide accurate information about their experience.
• Undergo Cavely Care's identity and background verification process.
• Be approved by the Cavely Care team before they can receive service requests.
• Act at all times with respect, professionalism, and care toward elderly adults.

Cavely Care reserves the right to reject or suspend any Helper profile that does not meet its quality and safety standards.

5. Clients — Use of Service

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the care needs of their family member.
• Treat Helpers with respect and dignity.
• Make payments through the methods enabled on the platform.
• Not contact or hire Helpers directly outside of the platform.

6. Payments and Rates

Payments for care services are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processing provider. Cavely Care may charge a service fee for the use of the platform. Fee details will be available in the application at the time of booking.

Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy in effect at the time of the reservation.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Using the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
• Posting false or misleading information.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users.
• Attempting to circumvent the platform's payment mechanisms.
• Collecting data from other users without their consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Cavely Care acts as a connection platform and does not guarantee the suitability, conduct, or performance of Helpers beyond its verification process. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cavely Care shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

9. Modifications

Cavely Care reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to registered users by email and/or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent courts of that state.
